Education scotland

Education Scotland has an excellent tennis resource by Judy Murray. It has a step by step approach to building up racket skills with individual links to YouTube videos to show the skills being described. Although it has been designed for a class of children it can still be useful for home learners to use with family or friends.

The Tennis Mentor

The Tennis Mentor is a professional tennis coach with experience teaching children from age 4. He has a popular YouTube channel with over 500 videos; including a series called 'How to Teach Kids Tennis'.

Tennis for free

Tennis For Free are striving to provide tennis sessions for all ages and sections of the community at parks throughout the country. A handful of sites stay open over the winter but most open in the spring. Take a look to see if there is a site near you.

CGP+ have a range of tennis activity sheets such as tennis skills for years 5 & 6, or a tennis serve poster or some racket games for years 3 & 4. There are also many cross curricular activities such as tennis themed French worksheets and Wimbledon word lists to support English. A subscription is required after a free trial.

Twinkl

Twinkl have lots of tennis themed resources including a PowerPoint on children's tennis rules, a tennis fact sheet and a Wimbledon reading comprehension. There are plenty more resources to explore for all ages and there are different levels of subscriptions available.
