ESERO-UK (UK Space Education and Resource Office) uses space to deliver world class teaching in STEM topics. There is a lot to explore on their website including a range of primary and secondary level resources.
The UK Space Agency aims to understand our universe and protect our planet. On their website they have many links to educational resources to explore such as the James Webb Space Telescope and Tim Peake's answers to questions.
NASA (The National Aeronautics and Space Administration) explores the unknown in air and space. There is so much to discover and learn on their website; there are games and interactives, STEM resources, other learning resources and there is also a NASA kids club.

Award winning science teacher streaming free, fun and fascinating science lessons for all ages. New lessons are added each week and are available to watch live or on demand via the Theatre of Science website, Facebook and YouTube. Topics are wide ranging and cover subjects such as coral reefs, periodic table, infections, astronomy and renewable energy.
Space Facts is a website jam packed with interesting facts about the plants, solar system, galaxies, moons and the universe.
Education Scotland asks the question 'Can humans colonise space?" Explore this interactive screen to learn about Mars and becoming an astronaut, play the Mars rover game and explore space.
The Institution of Engineering and Technology has a series of space related resources to use for both primary and secondary level learning. These include a star gazing activity to identify constellations.
Open Learn from the Open University have a huge library of courses available for home learning and they state there is no minimum age for enrolling on any course. There are a number of free astronomy courses such as an introduction to exoplanets, the moon, stars and galaxies, microgravity and images of the universe.
STEM Learning has a library of space resources downloadable for free. These include an astronaut logbook to compare a week in the life as an astronaut with a typical week for you, challenges to clean up space, consideration on returning satellites back to Earth, moon camp challenges, mission to mars STEM activities and so many more.
Oak National Academy delivers free lessons in all subjects, supporting the national curriculum from early years to KS4. Their resources are intended to be used to compliment learning and help to support closing any gaps. They have a KS2 series on space including lessons on what eclipses are, what is the universe made from and what do astronomers do.
Wonderlab is provided by the Science Museums Group and is a free online resource exploring lots of fun science. There are make and do activities, videos, games, space, quizzes, messy play and more - plenty to explore.
Harbor & Sprout have an expansive range of topics as unit studies and activity packs for KS1, KS2 and KS3. They have a good selection of astronomy resources including unit studies, posters and morning baskets.
Unit Study offers a catalogue of over 100 topics prepared as a unit study. They are purchased as a digital download, available straight away and can be used with more than one learner. No prep is required, just print and go, they take between 2 and 4 weeks depending on the course chosen. Relating to space they have a unit study on space and another on the moon.
REAL Science Odyssey, by Pandia Press, are a range of secular science curriculums. They have Astronomy Level 1 suitable for primary years and covers what astronomy is, the solar system and Earth in Space. Astronomy Level 2 is suitable for secondary years and covers more complex concepts such as the Big Bang, stars and black holes, our solar system, physical laws and processes, and Earth’s geology and formation. To extend learning there is also a stargazer's note book for a study of the nights sky.
The Good and the Beautiful is a Christian homeschool curriculum covering Language Arts, Math, Science History, and elective courses. It is designed to be an open and go meaning no preparation is needed. There is a space science course available with 15 lessons, a course book and age specific student journals.
