ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Toni and I have been home educating my two children for a few years now. We began our home educating journey when we removed the children from school and embarked on an adventurous road trip around Europe.

I'm not a a great planner so soon discovered I was quite underprepared for supporting my children with their home education, or rather their road schooling! I also discovered when I searched online for resources I quickly became overwhelmed. There were so many resources that I found it hard to crystalise my thoughts, panicked and procrastinated endlessly!

Now, as time has gone on and we've tried many, many different approaches I finally feel I'm getting the hang of home education. That is not to say we get it right all the time, but we happily muddle through and the result is happy kids and a less overwhelmed me!

I have built Prepare To Learn to try and make it easier for other home educating families, especially when they are just starting out and in that state of overwhelm. I hope to make it straightforward to find the resources that are needed without creating the distractions or feelings of panic or fear which can easily develop.
